Graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences, Physics and Theoretical Physics in 1993. Started his career in the UK, at Rank Xerox European HQ; Associate at leading regional investment bank MeesPierson Euramerica 1995-1997; Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston, Budapest 1997-2001 with regional responsibilities; Co-Founder and Partner at leading Hungarian Corporate Finance boutique Invescom Corporate Finance 2001-2006. Joins CAIB Corporate Finance (later Unicredit CAIB) in 2006, appointed CEO in 2007. From 2011-2016, as Managing Director, Elemér first headed the Specialised Financing & Advisory segment of UniCredit Hungary overseeing Commercial and Residential Real Estate Finance; Structured and Project Finance; Factoring and Investment Banking Advisory: ECM, DCM, M&A, and from 2014 was head of the Large Corporates segment.

Elemér is the President of the Hungarian Association of British Alumni, Member of the Supervisory Board the Pannonhalma Benedictine Archabbey Asset Holding Company, serves on the Advisory Board of the CEU MSc in Finance program. Previously, Elemér was member of the Presidium of the Joint Venture Association (2013-2016), and of the Issuers’ Committee of the Budapest Stock Exchange (2008-2014).
