Nasal endoscopy
Nasal endoscopy involves examining the nasal passages and nasopharynx with a thin, flexible or rigid endoscope to provide a detailed view of the internal structures.
Nasal endoscopy is a quick and minimally uncomfortable procedure in which an ENT specialist uses a thin, rigid or flexible endoscope to examine the nasal cavity, turbinates, nasal septum, and nasopharynx. This procedure allows for accurate diagnosis in cases of nasal obstruction, nosebleeds, recurrent sinus infections, smell disorders, or suspected growths. The examination is typically performed on an outpatient basis and may involve local anesthesia for patient comfort.
