Dr. Franciska Geszti
I graduated from Semmelweis University in Budapest in 2005. After graduating, I started working as a pathology resident at the SE II. Institute of Pathology; I also participated in the education of Hungarian and German-speaking students.
In 2011, I was placed as a dermatology resident at the Oncodermatology Department of the National Institute of Oncology.
In 2016, I received the Michael Hornstein Scholarship of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), in 2017, the support of the Euroderm Excellence program, and in 2019, the support of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, which gave me the opportunity to participate in several international congresses.
In 2018, I passed my dermatology residency with excellent results. I spent most of my dermatology residency years at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatological Oncology of Semmelweis University.
I regularly participate in domestic and international continuing education courses as a student and lecturer. I have published several articles in domestic and international journals on dermatology, dermatopathology and oncodermatology. In addition to general dermatology, my main areas of interest are the screening and treatment of skin tumors, skin surgery, and the treatment of acne and rosacea.
I am a member of the Hungarian Dermatological Society, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology and the European Association of Dermato Oncology. I speak English, German, Spanish and French.
I have been working at the dermatology outpatient clinic of the Budaörs Health Center since March 2019.
