He graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest in 1986 with a degree in general medicine, followed by a specialisation in neurology in 1994, paediatric neurology in 1997 and medical rehabilitation in infant and paediatrics in 2009.
She is a member of the Hungarian Society of Paediatric Neurology, the Hungarian Society of EEG and Clinical Neurophysiology, the Hungarian Paediatric Society and the Hungarian Rehabilitation Society, and a regular participant of congresses in paediatric neurology, neurology and rehabilitation, and of congresses, workshops and training courses of the Hungarian Society of EEG and Clinical Neurophysiology.
Although not a practicing psychotherapist, in her medical work as a child neurologist she draws much from her postgraduate psychotherapy training: she has participated in multi-year training courses in child psychotherapy, time-limited individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents, autogenic training, hypnotherapy, family therapy. It is no coincidence that Dr. Filiczki is also a master of communication with child patients, of understanding and empathic medical practice. Before joining the Children's Hospital of Budapest, he worked in the Neurology Department of the Esztergom City Hospital, in the Psychophysiology Research Laboratory of the SOTE Psychiatric Clinic, in the Developmental Neurology Department of the Svábhegy State Pediatric Institute, in the Neurology Department of the Heim Pál Children's Hospital, in the Department of Neurorehabilitation at the International Pető Institute, where he was also acting head of department.
