This is followed by a physical examination of your vascular system and, if necessary, instrumental diagnostics such as:

• doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow and vessel health,
• ankle-brachial index (ABI) measurement to evaluate peripheral circulation,
• blood tests (e.g., cholesterol and blood sugar levels)
