Thanks to his expertise and personal experience, he can provide extensive support to his patients who are striving for a healthier lifestyle.
Bence Vass was born in Kaposvár in 1994. He has been involved in sports since childhood, and kayaking has been a part of his daily life since the age of 11. He competed in this sport for 15 years and also worked as a coach in the kayak-canoe sport for two years.
“My passion for sports brought me an interest in healthy lifestyle and nutrition. I have always strived to choose a profession in which my commitment to sports and a healthy lifestyle could be realized.” – says the dietician at TritonLife Kapos Medical.
Bence graduated from Munkácsy Mihály High School in 2013 and, in line with his sporty lifestyle, completed his high school studies in a sports-oriented class. He studied English for a short time, then obtained a coaching qualification, and finally turned to his interest in dietetics. She acquired her English language skills at a master's degree, which is very useful in her work, as the latest dietetic research is available in English.
She completed her studies at the University of Pécs, where she started in 2016 and graduated in 2020. After graduating, she immediately started working in the field of dietetics. She began her career in the Health Development Office of the hospital, where she performed dietetic and prevention tasks. (During the pandemic, she assisted at vaccination points) - I think this can be omitted, and then she started a private practice from 2021. In addition to private practices, she also worked as a sports nutrition consultant.
She currently works as a dietitian in the cardiology department of the hospital, where she also deals with health development counseling for patients. She also runs a Heart-Friendly Lifestyle Club, which offers various health development programs and lectures for heart patients and health-conscious interested parties.
“Dietetics is not just a job for me, but also a hobby. In my free time, I often listen to nutrition podcasts, watch videos, and browse the latest research, so I am constantly educating myself. I am convinced that there is always new knowledge and new discoveries in the field of nutrition science that deepen my knowledge and help me provide appropriate care to patients.” - emphasizes Bence Vass.
His areas of expertise include sports nutrition, weight loss, the treatment of carbohydrate metabolism disorders (such as insulin resistance and diabetes), and digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Bence has been a vegetarian for over eight years, so he is also familiar with plant-based nutrition. Thanks to his expertise and his own experiences, he can provide extensive support to his patients who are striving for a healthier lifestyle.
