Dr. Ágnes Fulcz
“The most important thing is that my patients understand what is happening in their bodies. If they know why a problem develops, it is much easier for us to find a solution together.” - says dr. Ágnes Fulcz
Dr. Ágnes Fulcz has been working for more than three decades to help her patients regain their health and the internal balance of their bodies.
She earned her medical degree in Pécs, then passed a specialist examination in internal medicine, diabetology and endocrinology – so she has a comprehensive understanding of the hormonal system and metabolism.
She spent most of her career at Veszprém County Hospital, where she worked in inpatient care for more than 30 years, headed the Endocrine Metabolism Department, and then continued her work as the chief physician of the Internal Medicine, Metabolism and Diabetology Center from 2013.
She not only treats, but also teaches – she regularly gives lectures to specialists, family doctors, residents and medical students.
Her passion is educating people with diabetes: together with a dietician and a physiotherapist, she has organized courses where patients can learn how to supplement medication with exercise and a conscious diet.
Her professional interests focus on thyroid diseases, diabetes, insulin resistance, hormonal infertility, and adrenal and pituitary gland problems.
She is a member of the Hungarian Diabetes Society and the Hungarian Endocrine and Metabolism Society.
