He obtained his obstetrician-gynecologist qualification in 1989, and his endocrinology qualification four years later. After graduating from medical school, he began his career in the obstetrics and gynecology department of the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital in Budapest in 1985, from 1997 he worked at the Weiss Manfréd Hospital, and in 2000 he worked at the Kútvölgyi Clinical Block of Semmelweis University in the obstetrics and gynecology department. Between 2009 and 2015, he was the head of the Analysis, Medical Expertise and Professional Control Department of the National Health Insurance Fund, while continuing to work in private practices.
