Dr. Hortenzia Károlyi's goal is to improve the quality of life of diabetics and bring their long-term health prospects closer to those of non-diabetics - with the help of the most modern medical solutions.
Dr. Hortenzia Károlyi is an internist and chief physician in diabetology. She graduated from the Medical University of Timisoara in 1984. She has lived in Hungary since 1990 and works at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Erzsébet Hospital in Hódmezővásárhely.
She qualified in internal medicine in 1996 and in diabetology in 2001. She has been running a modern diabetes clinic for more than two decades, which she developed based on her own professional vision and commitment. She is also available in her private practices in Budapest (districts II, XI, XII and XIII).
In her work, she uses the latest diagnostic tools and therapeutic methods, whether it is an insulin pump, continuous blood sugar monitoring or the most modern drug treatments. Dr. Hortenzia Károlyi regularly participates in domestic and international diabetology congresses, further training courses and actively participates in the research of new therapeutic options.
She works closely with ophthalmologists, neurologists, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, laboratory specialists and dieticians to provide comprehensive patient care.
