Dr. Attila Magyar considers the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, bleeding disorders and endometriosis to be his heart's desire, and as a tumor surgeon he also deals with endometrial tumors. His professional credo can be described simply but brilliantly: his goal is to help his patients.
– I already knew in elementary school that I wanted to be a doctor. I really liked biology and human anatomy in particular – begins Dr. Attila Magyar, who grew up in a small village in the Bakony Mountains and completed his secondary school studies in Győr, at the Czuczor Gergely Bencés High School.
The doctor's path then led to the capital, where he graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University in 2005, and Budapest has been his home ever since. – I liked gynecology early on at university, so I went in that direction. I passed my obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound “A” exam in 2009. Then I passed the specialist examination in obstetrics and gynecology in 2011 and in gynecological tumor surgery in 2019 – says Dr. Attila Magyar, who was captivated by the complexity and versatility of the profession.
He coordinates his activities in three locations
“During my studies, I gave a TDK lecture at the 2nd Gynecological Clinic, my topic was preeclampsia (pregnancy toxemia) – recalls the obstetrician-gynecologist, who was a resident at the Clinic and from 2007 was a department physician at the Székesfehérvár Hospital. In 2008, his career path continued at the Szent Margit Hospital, first as a candidate for specialist medicine and then as a specialist. Dr. Attila Magyar is currently still doing his healing work there, and we can also turn to him with confidence at TritonLife.
Although the specialist's focus was previously on obstetrics, today the main focus is on a wide range of planned gynecological surgeries.
Balance between professional and private life
– I have gained diverse experience in both open and laparoscopic surgeries. I consider the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, bleeding disorders and endometriosis to be my passion, and as a tumor surgeon I also deal with endometrial tumors. Planned surgeries are closer to me not only because of my interests, but also because I am a family man. As a father of three children, this is how I can coordinate my professional and private life well – shares with us Dr. Attila Magyar, who, according to his own admission, can feel a lot from the complaints of women precisely because he himself has a family.
In addition to empathy, he considers open and honest communication and mutual trust to be the foundations of the doctor-patient relationship.
To delve even deeper into gynecological oncology
“I still deal with cesarean sections and maternity care. In addition to pregnant women and the surgical line, I would like to delve even deeper into gynecological oncology,” adds the specialist, who also considers participation in professional events and conferences important, and in her free time she can really recharge with sports activities, which also include playing football and mountain biking.
