Dr. László Csáthy graduated from Semmelweis University with a medical degree, passed the specialist examination in infant and pediatrics in 1984, and in neonatology in 1987. He is also a healthcare professional manager (Debrecen University AOK Health Management Training, 2005) and a forensic expert (2013).

He earned the title of honorary associate professor at the Debrecen University of Medicine in 2005. He has published numerous professional publications in prestigious domestic and international journals.

His thirst for knowledge is constant both as a practicing physician and as a chief physician. During his professional training and study trips, he worked, among others, at the Humboldt University in Berlin, at the premature intensive care unit of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and as a Traveling Fellowship scholar of the English Pediatric Society in London. Between 1980 and 2005, he was a physician in the infant and pediatric department of the Hajdú-Bihar County Hospital, from 1994 he was the chief physician of the Premature and Pathological Newborn Department, between 2005 and 2008 he headed the infant and pediatric department of the Bács-Kiskun County Hospital, and from 2008 he headed the Premature Intensive Care Unit of the Jahn Ferenc Hospital.

He is a member of the Hungarian Pediatric Society, the Hungarian Neonatological Society, the English Pediatric Society, the English Neonatological Society, a board member of the American Hungarian Medical Association and president of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Hungarian Doctors.

A physician in the neonatal and infant department of TritonLife Róbert Private Hospital, he performs outpatient appointments and cares for newborns and infants at the partner institution TritonLife Medikids Pediatric Center.
