Dr. Lakos Gábor

Dr. Lakos Gábor graduated from Semmelweis University in 1999 and has been working in the public health sector for 17 years, at a rural hospital serving the greater metropolitan area of the capital. He specialized in pediatrics in 2005.

Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of conditions and diseases in infants and children. He has also practiced in neonatal care, emergency care for preschool and school-aged children, and adolescents.

He has been working in the private healthcare sector for over 10 years and has been a member of the DoKid medical team since 2016.

He examines his patients with a complex, holistic approach. He considers it very important that parents understand the nature of their child's illness and treatment. Depending on the child's age, he also involves the child in the conversation, as this makes them much more cooperative, thus promoting their recovery. He considers it essential to educate children about a health-conscious lifestyle and to combine traditional and natural remedies as needed.

In recent years, he has been invited as an expert on various TV channels (RTL Klub, M1, ATV, Budapest TV) magazine programs. He is also a regular guest speaker at professional forums, schools, medical congresses, and corporate events. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Hungarian Comprehensive Health Screening Program 2010-2020.
