DIABETOLOGY
Diabetes treatment has evolved rapidly in recent decades. As we know more and more about diabetes, scientists are developing newer and newer solutions.
Type 1 diabetes is still necessarily treated with insulin, and there is a wide range of insulins available. In ten per cent of people, the onset of type 1 symptoms is relatively sudden and easily detectable. Typical symptoms include a constant feeling of thirst, frequent urination, sudden weight loss while maintaining appetite, constant fatigue, and infections that are difficult to cure.
